Creating Geodesic Domes with Rhino 3D and Grasshopper

In this class you will learn how to create a Geodesic Dome with Rhino, Grasshopper and Weaverbird. Grasshopper is a bit intimidating at first, but with some experience it can become one of the most useful tools. These tutorials are great for students who are trying to expand their design arsenal. They will allow you to create some impressive geometries in a quick amount of time. The tools here are just the start of what is possible to create with Parametric design. Class project:

For the class project, create a geodesic dome structure using the steps learned in the class. Make sure all the components are exported to their own layer name, and assign materials to each layer.
